Standard Runner™ Semi-Privacy Fences

All of our Standard Runner™ semi-privacy cedar fences are some of our most basic of designs. They are built to conceal the post, and therefore you will have a continuous line of boards when viewed from the outside. The most popular of these are the Board On Board or Shadow Box semi-privacy fence. Of course, the Board on Board fence designs are not the only option. They are also available as with a tighter spacing of approximately 1", and may be purchased in all heights. Elyria Fence custom builds all of the fences; therefore, customers are not forced to install the "dog ear" styled stockade fence. You can choose from any of our board cuts, such as the Classic, Imperial, Picket or Modern.

Our Standard Runner™ fence designs are built with rough sawn White Cedar boards and framework, and Red Pine treated posts. Feel free to refer to our gate page for further options. If you are curious as to how your fence will weather if left unstained, refer to our durability page for a photo.

If you have a yard that has a lot of change in the grade such as a hill you will find that our standard runner fences follow grade changes the best. Many of our customers find that the classic board and picket board designs flow nicely with hills or other grade changes as they do not feature a hole cut into the board. On a hill the decorative holes that are cut into a modern or imperial board will not line up as the fence line flows with your grade.

For the convenience of our customers we provide installations year around, however, be sure to plan ahead on your installation. The summer months are very busy, and this will allow us to accommodate for your holiday parties or pool installation.
