Good Neighbor® White Cedar Fence Designs

All of the Good Neighbor® wood privacy fence designs and wood picket fence designs are identical on each side. That may be why the Good Neighbor® wood fences are our most popular fence designs. It is accomplished by decoratively framing in the fence. The posts have caps, and are placed between the fence panels, and extended slightly higher than the fence. Not only does this create a more attractive fence, but helps to break up the view of the fence as a whole. All of the privacy fences and picket fences are custom built, and most styles can be created into a Good Neighbor® Design. All of the boards and framework are made out of rough sawn White Cedar, and the posts are treated Red Pine. Each fence is built on-site by skilled craftsmen, and nothing is prefabricated.
 

The Standard RunnerTM wood privacy fence designs and wood picket fence designs are the most basic design of all three categories of wood fences. The posts are placed behind the fence and set lower than the fence line. It is custom built, and works well as a simple picket fence, board on board (shadow box), or solid privacy fence. It is constructed of rough sawn White Cedar boards and framework and treated Red Pine posts.

The traditional old world ornamental iron is still
one of the most beautiful and decorative options available. Though it is extremely decorative do not let its pretty face deceive you. It is one of the strongest sturdiest fences available. It is common to see these as security fences designed to accommodate automatic door openers and other security systems. Anymore, the Wrought Iron is being replaced by powder coated galvanized steel. It is extremely strong, however, is mass produced and therefore a bit less expensive. Elyria FenceSM(TM) also works with a very talented artisan who creates custom ornamental wrought iron by hand. The quality of the product is unmatched in strength and beauty. Ornamental aluminum is another option, which is designed to look similar to an ornamental iron fence. By going with the Aluminum, customers can have the look of an ornamental fence, but not incur the costs associated with ornamental iron fencing. Of course, typically aluminum can not match the strength of an iron or steel fence. However, our manufacturer (Ultra Aluminum) offers a special aluminum alloy which will rival the strength of steel. This is the only manufacturer that offers this product.

The Elyria Fence CompanySM(TM) has been custom building school athletic field enclosures, industrial chain link invincible fencing, guard rail fence and perimeter security fencing since 1932. All cantilever gates and security fence are built to spec using only American Made Steel and aluminized fabric. This will ensure that your company's security fence and gate will be in beautiful condition for decades. Aluminized fabric is coated to prevent the rusting that occurs within a couple of years when galvanized fabric is used. Security gates are available with or without an electric operator.

The Reverse RunnerTM wood privacy fence designs and wood picket fence designs are decorative fences, but are more traditional in style. They are designed with framing only on the back. The posts are what set the Reverse RunnerTM fence designs apart from the other styles. The posts are extended slightly higher than the fence, and positioned between each section to set them apart. Customer's can keep their design simple by placing caps on the posts or they can add other features such as balls or Finial posts. All of the Reverse RunnerTM fences are custom built to the customer's requirements, and most of the designs can be created into a Reverse RunnerTM They are constructed of rough sawn White Cedar boards and framework and treated Red Pine posts.

Available as a 2 rail split rail fence, 3 rail split rail fence and 4 rail split rail fence. Split rail is a classic design that never seems to be out of style! If you love the look of split rail, but you need to contain your dog or children - no problem! We can add wire to the split rail fence, and it does a very nice job of containment!

Typical of our company philosophy, our chain link fences are built to last. All of the chain link wire is aluminized. Aluminized wire is warranted against rust for thirty years. The process that aluminized material goes through will also make it a stronger and stiffer wire versus a Galvanized wire. Galvanized wire will begin rusting in a few years. The pipe and framework used on our chain link fences are all hot dipped galvanized. We always use thicker posts and top rail in the construction of the fence. All of these factors will contribute to the long life that an Elyria Fence Co.SM(TM) chain link fence will see.
