Aluminized (Rust Proof) Chain Link Fence by Elyria Fence

Aluminized (Rust Proof) Chain Link Fence

All of our commercial and residential chain link fences are aluminized, not galvanized. This allows us to provide our customers with a fence that is warranted against rust for thirty years. A Galvanized wire will begin to rust within a few short years. Aluminized wire also goes through an additional process which makes it a much stronger wire than a galvanized wire. In other words, aluminized wire has the strength of steel, and the corrosion resistance of aluminum. Additionally, the aluminized coating has self healing properties. If it is damaged, it will actually heal itself. Aluminized material is available in three different gauges, 11 1/2 (lightest), 10 (medium), 9 (heavy). As with all of the products offered by Elyria Fence, our chain link fences (including the hardware) are all American Made out of American steel. Our estimators will be happy to assist you in choosing the correct strength or gauge that's appropriate for your project. All of the gates are welded in custom sizes by our talented in-house welder. Our posts and framework are all hot dipped galvanized. All of the corner and end connecting posts are usually 2 1/2" or 3", and our line posts are usually 1 5/8" or 2". This creates a stronger more stable fence that can withstand the pull from the wire. However, the size of the pipe used will vary depending on the height of the fence or length of the gate. As always, all of the posts are set in concrete.

For the convenience of our customers we provide installations year around, however, be sure to plan ahead on your installation. The summer months are very busy, and this will allow us to accomodate for your holiday parties or pool installation. Contact one of our estimators for a free appointment to discuss design and pricing options.
